Privacy Policy

1. Who we are
Voosh.Travel (formerly Voosh Mobile) is operated by Voosh Limited, a company registered in England and Wales. Voosh Limited is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. Address: Voosh Limited, Flat 2, 6 Silverdale Road, Eastbourne, East Sussex, BN20 7AL, United Kingdom. This policy explains what we collect when you use the Voosh.Travel app and websites (vooshgroup.com and vooshmobile.com), why, who we share it with, and your rights.
2. Data we collect
- Account details: your email address and password (stored only in encrypted, hashed form).
- Flight booking details: for each traveller, their title, first and last names, gender and date of birth exactly as on their passport, plus a contact email address and mobile number. Airlines need these to issue tickets.
- Booking records: booking references, routes, dates, airline, amount paid and booking status, so you can see your trips in the app.
- eSIM orders: the plan and destination you buy, the eSIM identifier (ICCID), installation details and data-usage information.
- Payment information: handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
- Help chat messages: the questions you type into the in-app help assistant.
- Technical data: basic device and app information needed for the app to work and for eSIM compatibility.
Travellers saved on your phone: to save you typing, the app can remember travellers you have booked for. These details are stored only on your own device, not on our servers, and are removed if you delete the app.
3. How we use your data, and our legal basis
- To book your flights and eSIMs, take payment, send confirmations and e-tickets, and show your trips (performance of a contract).
- To provide customer support and answer help chat questions (performance of a contract and our legitimate interests in helping customers).
- To prevent fraud and keep the service secure (legitimate interests).
- To keep financial and booking records we are required to keep by law (legal obligation).
We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it to build advertising profiles. We only send marketing emails if you have agreed to receive them.
4. Who we share your data with
- Duffel: our flight booking partner, which passes traveller details to the airline to issue your tickets (duffel.com/privacy).
- Airlines: the airline you fly with receives the traveller and contact details it needs to carry you, and handles them under its own privacy policy.
- Stripe: payment processing (stripe.com/privacy).
- Airalo: eSIM provision (airalo.com/privacy-policy).
- Resend: sending confirmation and account emails.
- Anthropic: powers the in-app help assistant; your chat messages are sent to it to generate a reply.
- Railway: hosts our servers and database.
- Government authorities, where airlines or the law require it (for example border and security checks).
5. International transfers
Some of these providers process data outside the UK, and flight bookings necessarily involve sharing traveller details with airlines and authorities in the countries you travel to. Where data leaves the UK we rely on appropriate safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses.
6. How long we keep data
We keep booking and payment records for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet our legal and accounting obligations (normally six years). If you delete your account, we delete your account details and unlink your bookings from you, keeping only the records we are required by law to retain.
7. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, object to or restrict how we use it, and ask for a copy in a portable format. You can delete your account at any time in the app under Account. To exercise your rights, email support@vooshgroup.com. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
8. Children
Accounts are for adults aged 18 and over. An adult may book flights for children travelling with them, in which case the adult provides the child's details.
9. Changes to this policy
We will update this page if our practices change and show the date of the latest update at the top.
